— The engagement

Most consulting starts with an invoice. This one starts with a conversation.

Five stages. Three of them are free. You don’t pay until there’s something concrete to build, and you don’t keep paying after we hand it off — unless you want it to keep getting better.

— In plain English

Ease runs a five-stage engagement. The first three stages — discovery, review, and discussion — are free. Discovery is a 15-minute AI-led conversation you can have whenever and wherever; the Ease team reviews it and sends an opportunity report within three business days. If you choose to build, the implementation fee is fixed and scoped per engagement before work starts. After launch, an optional monthly subscription maintains and optimizes the system as AI evolves.

— The five stages

Free until it’s worth paying for. Predictable when it isn’t.

The first three stages cost nothing. You only pay when there’s a real, scoped system to build — and you only keep paying if you want it to keep evolving.

  1. — Stage 01Free

    Discovery

A 15-minute chat with our AI. You pick the time, the place, the pace.

Our AI asks about your business, your manual work, the tools you use, and what’s slowing you down. No appointment. No human in the loop. Have it whenever — couch at 9 p.m., between jobs, in the car at lunch.

  2. — Stage 02Free

    Review & Report

Our team reads every word and writes you a real plan — within three business days.

We read your transcript end-to-end, score the AI and automation opportunities by impact and effort, and write the plan up in plain English. No jargon. No slide deck. No upsell.

  3. — Stage 03Free

    Discussion

A working call to pressure-test the report. Optional, free, no pitch.

Push back on anything in the report that doesn’t fit. Talk timeline, scope, and what to start with. We’ll be honest about what we can and can’t do, and where another partner might fit better.

  4. — Stage 04 Fixed fee, scoped per engagement

    Build

We deliver the engagement on a fixed fee, agreed before any work starts.

We build what we agreed to. Real working systems running in your business — not prototypes. The price is fixed before any work starts and only moves if the scope does.

  5. — Stage 05 Monthly subscription

    Maintain

Optional monthly subscription. Your systems keep working — and keep getting better.

AI changes fast. Your systems shouldn’t break with it. We monitor what’s live, swap in better models when they outperform, and tighten workflows as your business changes. No surprise bills.

— Why this way

The model is the message.

Most consulting asks you to pay before you’ve seen proof. We flipped it. AI runs the discovery because patient, structured interviewing is what AI is genuinely good at — and because it lets you do it on your schedule.

Humans write the strategy because judgment and prioritization are still ours. By the time we ask you for a dollar, you already have something useful in your inbox. The monthly subscription exists because static deliverables decay — we’d rather build something that gets better with time.

— Stage 01 starts here

The first stage takes 15 minutes and costs nothing. The next move is yours.

Have the chat whenever and wherever — on your couch, between jobs, in the car at lunch. Your opportunity report lands within three business days. From there, you decide whether to keep going. We won’t chase you.

Is the discovery really free? What’s the catch?

No catch. Stages 01 through 03 — discovery, review, and discussion — cost nothing. We invest the time up front because the only way to know whether we’re a fit is to do real work together. If we’re not a fit, you walk with the report anyway.

What does the implementation fee look like?

Fixed fee, scoped per engagement. The number depends on the size and shape of the build — a single-workflow automation looks very different from a full operations redesign. You see the price before any work starts, and the price doesn’t move unless the scope does.

What does the monthly subscription actually cover?

Monitoring of what’s live, model updates as the underlying AI improves, tightening workflows as your business changes, and adding to the system as we learn what’s working. It’s scoped to what you have running, so the price is predictable.

Can I cancel the monthly?

Yes. The subscription is month to month. If you ever decide to bring maintenance in-house, we hand over clean documentation and the systems keep running.

Do I have to do all five stages?

No. The first three are free, so you can stop after any of them with no cost. Many people stop after the report — they have the plan they came for, even if they execute it themselves.

How is this different from a regular consulting engagement?

Regular consulting bills you to gather information and write a deck. We bill you to build working systems. The discovery and report stages exist so you have proof before you spend a dollar. The monthly stage exists so the systems don’t decay the second we leave.
